The fit story
Why Monday exists
Monday started with a wardrobe full of shirts that almost fit.
The shoulder seam falling halfway down the arm. The gape at the bust that needs a safety pin. Sleeves rolled up not as a style choice but because they reach past the knuckles. A length that is either cropped by accident or long enough to be a dress. Every one of them bought here, in Dhaka, from a shop that was selling a shirt drafted for a body in another country.
The industry's answer to this has been to offer a smaller size. But a size is a scale, not a shape. Shrinking a pattern drafted for different proportions gives you a smaller shirt with the same wrong shoulder, the same low armhole, the same misplaced bust point.
So we started over: a new block, drafted from the measurements of women here, and then fitted on real bodies rather than a single mannequin.
What we make
Shirts. That is the whole catalogue, and it will stay narrow for a while.
Three patterns at launch, each in several colourways, each in one relaxed fit that works across UK 8–14. One fit means we can spend our attention on getting that one fit genuinely right instead of spreading it thin across a size run.
How we work
We publish the measurements. Every garment measurement, in inches, on every product page. No "true to size", no vague reassurance — numbers you can check against a shirt you own.
We ask you about your body. At checkout you can optionally tell us your height, the size you usually buy, and the brand you usually buy it from. That is not marketing data. It goes straight into the next pattern. The more of you answer, the better the next shirt fits.
We would rather lose the sale. If you message us and it is clear our shirt will not fit you the way you want, we will say so.
Where we are
Dhaka, Bangladesh. We deliver across the country — cash on delivery, or bKash.
We are at the beginning. Come with us.
